LCU Receives Academic Award of Excellence Honor

WACO, Texas (July 6, 2017) - Lubbock Christian University claimed their first Heartland Conference Academic Award of Excellence, sporting an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.31 for the 2016-17 school year the conference office announced Wednesday. LCU also took home the Women's Academic Award of Excellence with a 3.49 GPA. St. Edward's claimed the Men's Academic Award of Excellence with a 3.19 GPA.

2017 Volleyball Schedule Finalized

LUBBOCK, Texas (June 22, 2017) – Lubbock Christian University volleyball head coach Jennifer Lawrence has finalized the 2017 schedule, which has the Lady Chaparrals opening the season Sept. 1 in Portland, Ore. against Westminster College (Utah) in the opening match of the Concordia – Portland Labor Day Tournament. Their home opener is set for Sept. 7 against Colorado Mesa.
